Several years ago, I had the opportunity to collaborate with “7 World,” a prestigious group of companies based in Sri Lanka, on a logo design project. The challenge was to create a visual identity that would effectively represent their diverse business interests and global reach while incorporating the number 7 as a prominent element. The result was a distinctive and meaningful logo that encapsulated the essence of their brand.
The “7 World” logo was meticulously crafted to convey the group’s global presence, the importance of the number 7 in their identity, and their commitment to holding the world in their hands. The design comprised three key elements:
- The Globe: The central element of the logo is a stylized representation of the Earth, signifying the global scale of “7 World’s” operations. The globe symbolizes their international reach and ambition to impact the world.
- Number 7: The number 7 is artfully integrated into the design, subtly and elegantly, forming an essential part of the globe. This element emphasizes the significance of the number 7 in the group’s identity while seamlessly blending with the overall design.
- Hand Holding the Globe: To add a distinctive and personal touch to the logo, a hand is gently cradling the globe. This element represents the care, trust, and responsibility that “7 World” extends to the world it serves. It signifies the human touch and commitment to making a positive impact.
The color palette chosen for the logo is a blend of deep blues and vibrant greens, symbolizing the Earth and its rich natural beauty. These colors were carefully selected to evoke feelings of trust, reliability, and growth.
The typography used in the logo is clean, modern, and easy to read. It complements the overall design and ensures that the company name, “7 World,” is easily recognizable and memorable.
The “7 World” logo successfully encapsulates the group’s mission, values, and global ambitions. It is a harmonious representation of their commitment to making a positive impact on the world, holding the number 7 close to their heart, and embracing the globe with care and responsibility. The logo is a testament to the group’s dedication to excellence, reliability, and their continued efforts to shape a better world.
I am proud to have been a part of this project and to have contributed to the visual identity of “7 World.” It is a logo that not only represents their business endeavors but also their passion for making a difference on a global scale.
